2023 RENDEZVOUS SEPTEMBER 14-17
190 years ago in 1832 about 1000 mountain men and native Americans gathered in Pierre’s Hole (Teton Valley). It was one of largest rendezvous held in the Rocky Mountains.
James Beckwourth left this general description:
“It may well be supposed that the arrival of such a vast amount of luxuries from the East did not pass off without a general celebration. Mirth, song, dancing, shooting, trading, running, jumping, singing, racing, target-shooting, yarns, frolic, with all sort of extravagances that white men or Indians could invent were freely indulged in.”
Having a lot of fun together with Jesus is the primary focus of this Rendezvous, but we will have some dedicated time brainstorming and listening to Jesus for what He wants this Rendezvous to be.
